GUI change in PTF 605 and higher 

Due to a technical limitation of the Seagull Software GUI product menu system, we have been forced to make a change in PTF 605 of enrich and higher.

In the EMMS module, the ETK module is available as a module button, but is no longer available as a menu option at the top of the screen.

This means that you can still get to ETK from EMMS, but you have to click the ETK module button in the middle left of the screen.


In the EMMS module, all "Table" drop-down menus have been changed to independent main menus and they are indicated as "Tables -->".

This means that whenever you are using any of the EMMS Tables, you have to go to a separate menu first, and then the full dropdown for that section is available.

The technical memory limitation that we have encountered in the Seagull GUI product is only an issue within the EMMS menu because it became so large. Since Table functions are less frequently used, we have chosen to make the change to these options.

The EMMS reference manuals have been updated to reflect these changes, both on the website and in the User Group Discussion Forum.
